Wariunga and Kinyangi community water projects

Kakuzi strives to enhance community development and poverty alleviation within adjacent communities through the sustainable use of the available resources and the disbursement of conservation benefits. We engage in Community water development project/schemes which make a considerable difference to the communities. Wariunga and Kinyangi springs renovation is complete, the springs serves over 200 families and two primary schools. This is an effort towards attainment of SDG number 6 on ensuring availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all.

Roads and Bridges

Kakuzi donated materials for the repair of Mugumo-ine access Foot Bridge. The community leader who received the materials appreciated the gesture on behalf of the community.

Donation of Timber to ithanga Church

Construction material (80 fits of timber) was donated to ACK Itaaga church.  Fencing posts (50) were donated and erected at Makuyu police station. Kakuzi also donated mattresses to Percy Davies special school.
