Sanitation facilities for schools

Good sanitation is a basic human right and contributes towards better academic outcomes. Kakuzi continues to work with schools to facilitate access to these facilities.

A total of 72 sanitation facilities (latrines) have been constructed for schools by Kakuzi giving access to over 1,500 pupils in various schools.

Rain water harvesting facilities for schools

As part of long-term measures to address the challenge of water shortage, the company continues to install rain water harvesting tanks in 12 primary and secondary schools.

Hand Washing Tanks

A total of 64 hand washing tanks to facilitate hand washing have also been donated.

Working with Local administration

The company piped water to the senior government officers’ residential area. This has ensured constant access to water to 9 government households solving water shortages experienced.

We also constructed saniation facilities at Kirimi Police Post.
